Screenkey clone for Windows

Basically a program that records your keys and can display on the screen a box that show what keys you pressed
Unfortunately this program is not available for Windows, but it would be really useful if when streaming an application/game/emualtor or maybe while doing a presentation, you could showcase your shortcuts, so people can see which key did you press, for education purposes, for example.

I'm sorry, but I will close this as you barely provided any explanation as to what your idea really is. Please do resubmit it with a more elaborate explanation.
Not resubmit but just fill into the existing. Or it may make sense to just delete this issue without closing, and if the author needed it, he would recreate.
Well, basically, it is a program that creates a window which shows which characters you are typing at the moment.
What is the goal of this?
When streaming a gameplay or typing shortcuts on a program it allows viewers to see what you are typing
I thought it was pretty clear that I wanted a clone of the screenkey program that is not available for windows. Do I need to explain how screenkey works, or why do I need it?
Looks better, but please provide some more detailed information regarding how it could be implemented.
You could also explain why you need this, as it seems you got a pretty good solution for it already in your gif.
I tried to create something similar its not yet perfect but will be :) Here is the SourceCode
- Height is configurable
- Font size and color configurable
- Auto text clear configurable after x seconds
- Auto-hide the bar after x seconds configurable
- Control modifiers are not showing correctly like Ctrl Alt keys ( working on this )
How about Code52/carnac and KaustubhPatange/Kling ? Both open source, found using alternativeto.net.
