Feature Request: Add more / custom units for key health indicators
At current, I really need specifically mmHg
for blood pressure tracking added.
Other health tracking units that I might want to use:
-
Pressure:
- Millimeters of Mercury (
mmHg
), used in the US for blood pressure.
- Millimeters of Mercury (
-
Concentration:
- Millimoles per Litre (
mmol/L
), used in the UK for blood glucose and other things. - Milligrams per deciliter (
mg/dL
), used in the USA (currently present, but wrongly labelled; it's used for more than just Blood Sugar) - Picograms per microliter (
pg/mL
), used for things like hormone values - Grams per deciliter (
g/dL
) used for e.g. Hemoglobin values - Tens of thousands per Microliter (
x10E3/uL
), used for e.g. white blood cell/platelet count - Milliequivalents per Litre (
mEq/L
), e.g. sodium/potassium/CO2 concentration
- Millimoles per Litre (
-
Volume Flow Rate:
- Milliliters per minute (`mL/min), e.g. eGFR for kidney function
-
Mass:
- Picograms (
pg
) used for MCH for e.g. hemoglobin.
- Picograms (
Really, I just wish I could define my own units as needed, potentially defining them inside tracker objects if they aren't in the base set.
It'd be super great to have relationships set between the different measurements so conversions and compound units could be created, but that feels like it'd be way over the top.
(woops, description incoming, pressed enter too soon)
I agree with this one whole heartedly!!! Even a simple "bottles" unit would be useful to me personally, custom units would be amazing.
