Option to enter date

In some situations, it is much easier to manually enter the date rather than trying to use the calendar to select it. For example, in the image below I am trying to choose my date of birth, and it would take a while to go back a couple of years, and entering my D.O.B. manually would be much easier.

I think this is a good idea, but I think we can instead show a selection screen that lets the user pick a certain month and year and automatically jump to that month and year on the calendar.

Yea I think that could also work.
