When you disconnect or reconnect a controller the game very briefly has a longer frame, where the audio / gameplay stutters.

Not sure this is even worth attempting to fix because it happens with just about every (Windows?) application ever.

I don't know about every windows application ever, for example this doesn't happen in PCSX2. But that's why it's marked as low-priority.
