Empty space when creating a new chat

Describe the bug

In the chat tab, when hitting "new chat", the space used by the previous chat is still present between the AI welcome message and the prompt. In the screenshot, the chat was short so you can see the probleme. But if the previous chat was long, this is annoying: I have to scroll up and down conitnually. Refreshing the browser doesn't change anything, only a server restart reset it correctly.

Is there an existing issue for this?

What version and browser? What install method? Any difference when using incognito?

It looks like it's not a browser issue: it's happening on qutebrowser (2.5.3), firefox (122) and chrome (120). I've installed following the "Manual installation using Conda" section word-to-word, and i'm in sync with the main branch. Using incognito makes no difference. I'll try a total reinstall and see.
