[Suggestion] Option to disable automatic scrolling

Open vjandrea opened this issue 8 years ago • 4 comments

Whenever I type a command the response scrolls to reveal the last rows, so I have to scroll up again to read the whole response. An option to disable the automatic Scrolling would beparticularly useful when responses are longer than the screen height, or when the font is set to a larger size for accessibility reasons.

It's unfortunately not that simple. Androids options for scrollpanels leave much to be desired for and not scrolling at all if the text doesn't fit would get me a lot of "bug" reports and poor ratings, I'm not too keen on getting.

Well I was thinking about an option in the settings screen, off by default to be compatible with the current ux

Are you basically asking for a "MORE" prompt, for when responses are bigger than 1 screen?

Yes that would be great too
