Graphical/texture artefacting.
Using the mod with the "-force-vulkan" launch command, triggers constant texture artefacting once loaded in the world. Without the command the artefacting ceases.
Update : It ceases as well when removing the "gfx-enable-native-gfx-jobs=1" line from the boot.config file.
I don't know anything about coding but i'm not sure the mod itself is actually causing this, just a symptom of something else i suppose, posting this here anyway in case it helps anything.
Not experiencing anything like that at all. Are you on AMD by any chance?
No it's an Nvidia GPU.
Alright, so does this still happen without the mod? I tried the native jobs config option and it didn't really improve my fps at all. If this still occurs, try downloading the 0.7 prerelease version where I fixed objects appearing at 0 0
Hi, no it doesn't happen without the mod installed, but the artefacting does indeed ceases without one of those lines, it also doesn't happen with the pre 0.6.0 versions of your mod. I will try 0.7 and keep you updated.
Hi, haven't had the time to test it yet but with the release of H&H i will today, if it is compatible of course.
Edit : Just tested 7.0 Pre 2, it still does it, texture artifacts are a bit different but there, same parameters and commands as last time, here's what i get
.
This issue does not occur for me and I have no clue how to fix it. You can try the newest version here: https://github.com/ontrigger/ValheimPerformanceOptimizations/releases/tag/0.7-pre3 but I doubt it would fix anything.
The only reason I think this could occur is if you're not on windows. You're probably gonna have to remove the native-gfx-jobs option in order for the artefacting to stop
I'm playing on Windows 10, same thing happens with 0.7-Pre 3. And yes that's what i will do, just wanted to see if it would help you if possible to fix that issue, thanks for the mod and for your work.
