[bug] When a project is made as a template, branches aren't deletable in a template copy

Describe the bug

  1. Make a project with multiple branches
  2. Make that project a template
  3. Create a project from that template
  4. Try deleting one of the branches in the project – Can't seem to be able to

@drfarrell Fixed! now it queries the database directly to get the real branch count before allowing deletion
