[bug] Bottom Editor Toolbar Animation [WIP]
Describe the bug
When opening the bottom editor toolbar, there is an unexpected animation where the toolbar initially appears from the center of the screen, pipes up, moves towards the right, and then settles into its final position. This behavior causes a distracting visual glitch and feels unnatural.
Expected Behavior
The bottom editor toolbar should appear directly in its final position with a smooth slide-in or fade-in animation, without any unintended movement from the center or shifting across the screen.
Actual Behavior
- Toolbar appears from the center of the screen.
- It briefly pipes up vertically.
- Then shifts towards the right.
- Finally settles down.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the editor.
- Trigger the window refresh.
- Observe the animation of the toolbar appearing.

hey @Rish-it , Taking this up. Will fix the toolbar animation glitch.
hey @Rish-it , Can you please take a look at [PR #2175] ? Let me know if you have any suggestions or feedback. Thanks!
@PradyumnChauhan It seems the animation has been completely removed, which makes the transition feel quite abrupt. Also, the position of the bar still seems off (not properly centered). For better reference, you can check the positioning and animation behavior on the Onlook desktop app. @Kitenite whenever you get a chance, please drop your review and suggestions on this.
@Rish-it Actually, the animation is still there — it just didn't get captured in the video, maybe due to a frame drop. I'll also double-check the position to be sure
