Hello there, thanks for your contribution of bringing touch support for Silead touchscreens. I really want to bring full support for my Chuwi HiBook Pro, but I'm stuck at getting the right resolution for the touch panel. Please could you explain to me how to get that info? I would gladly try to test it with gslx680_ts_acpi. I'm also interested to bring the support to the official kernel.

It's a bit unfortunate, but AFAIK the only way to find the touch panel resolution is by setting the maximum range (4096, which is actually the default) in the driver and observing the output of evtest while you move a finger across the panel.
