Support auto tagging based on file attributes

I was wondering if support for auto tagging based on file attributes is supported to some extent or could be brainstormed. I would like to have TMSU auto tag files based on their names, ideally being able to utilize something like guessit to auto tags series, episodes, formats, etc.

Hi. Yes, auto-tagging is something I've thought about many a time (it's in the TODO file in the wiki) but it's always been a case that more fundamental things need to be addressed first. I will get around to it eventually, I suppose: I really need to sink some more time into the project.
