OnionShare Freezes after long time running a site?

I've been running a website on Onionshare, works great. But after like 7-9 hours the program stops sharing it and freezes if I click on it and some problem pops out and I have to reboot it. Anyone knows is this how is it supposed to be or I have to fix something?

I have encountered a similar issue. I'm running OnionShare on a virtual machine running Debian 11 with GNOME. Every so often, typically after a few days, it becomes unresponsive and I have to force quit, delete the lock file, and restart OnionShare.

What I have noticed is that when this happens, there is always a system notification that an update is available. I suspect that there is a problem whereby these notifications are causing OnionShare to crash.

I tried turning off automatic updates in system settings, but that seems not to have solved the problem.

Now I have also turned update notifications off using the following terminal command:

gsettings set org.gnome.software download-updates-notify false

I've only done this today, so it's too early to tell if it will solve the problem.
