Description
Problem statement
- Target audience: Developers looking to validate and showcase their skills in building on the Flow blockchain.
- Evidence for the need: While there are many tutorials available, there is a lack of structured certification programs that provide official recognition of developers' expertise. A certification program can help standardize the skills required for Flow development and give developers a valuable credential to enhance their career prospects.
Proposed solution
I propose to create a Flow Developer Certification Program that includes structured courses, exams, and certification. This program will offer multiple levels of certification, from beginner to advanced, covering all essential topics such as setting up the development environment, smart contract development with Cadence, and integration with existing tools.
Impact
- Standardization: Establishing a standardized certification program will ensure that developers have a consistent level of knowledge and skills.
- Recognition: Providing official certification will help developers showcase their expertise and enhance their career opportunities.
- Community Growth: By offering a recognized certification, more developers will be motivated to learn and contribute to the Flow ecosystem.
