Add license to the project?

Note: I opened #9 a few minutes ago and then quickly closed it because I realized it was a mistaken idea.

Proposed Change: adding MIT license

Explanation: This repository was referenced in https://github.com/github-linguist/linguist/issues/6631, an issue created for adding jai to the github linguist tool, only for the syntax content in the file jai.json. (This change would allow jai to be displayed in the languages breakdown at the bottom right of github repositories). I would like to ask if you'd be willing to add one of these open source licenses to your project so that I could fork it and use the fork just for the syntax in jai.json.

Other options Or, if you'd like to keep it license-less, would you at least give me written permission to use syntax.json in a repository with my own open-source license?
