I'll move this issue to milestone 2.1 as it creates, IMHO, a whole new class of problems. :-)

This must go along with the "close" button as in Safari, more or less in the location of the icon...

I, too, am drowning in app development for a release in July. But I'd volunteer to review code from PRs on weekends 👍

Another Safari (and Xcode) feature that would be nice is auto-collapsing of the control when there is only one tab. Of course, right now it should be easily implemented from the application side...
