Open folder from WC not possible because WC is greyed out

I have to admit that I'm lost and angry that this does not work. it works on my iPad. On my iPhone exactly the same does not work. In the Open... dialog WorkingCopy is greyed out. Even though I can create a new folder in WC, I can neither select the new folder nor mypython folder for opening. Or, I'm am just too stupid to understand the user experience. Then it's a UX bug, grr.
