IOS flaky offline mode

When using the app my expectation is:

1. Open an article on the browser
2. Click on share to omnivore
3. Even if the device is on flight mode the article is store locally and should be available
4. I open the omnivore app and open the said article

However I always get in flight mode the following:

Now in a similar flow

1. Open an article on the browser
2. Click on share to omnivore
3. I open the omnivore app and open the said article
4. Switch to flight mode
5. Open the article

However just like in the case above it shows that the article wasn't stored.

If I do the same but read a bit of the article before switching to offline mode it stores and is available in flight mode
