Anyone who takes highlights on articles/files/newsletters knows how useful it is to share their highlights with others.

Right now we can only copy the text as is, and that's great! But other services have the ability to share highlights in a nice image format for use on social media etc.

Ideally, Omnivore having such a feature would include:

  1. The option to export to an image in different aspect ratios (square and portrait)
  2. The option to export with different background colours
  3. The option to export with different fonts
  4. No watermarks

I think this feature would be used by a lot of people, and if the design is nice it would help promote Omnivore as people inevitably ask how the images were made.

Thoughts?
