Restore old subscription page layout
YouTube seems to have changed the subscriptions feed page a couple months ago.
- It no longer separates the videos by upload date.
- The video thumbnails are much larger, resulting in fewer thumbnails per row, fewer rows per page.
- As a result, the subscriptions feed has had a massive reduction in information density.
I would like to see the subscriptions feed restored to its previous, information-dense glory.
- Videos are separated into "Past 24 hours," "past 48 hours," "past week," "past month," and "older."
- Video thumbnails are reduced to their former size, restoring the number of thumbnails per row and page
- Glorious information density returns
Videos per row
Bump! Apparently i'm not the only one that is annoyed by this.
"Typical" subscription page now:
to the comparison, home page:
Look on how much more we can squeeze in using the "videos per row" feature
WatchLater Button
Also subscription page seems to be missing "add to watch later" button. It shows ONLY on "upcoming" clips, not regular ones.
For "Home" it's even worse, it's all gone from the clip. To add it into WatchLater you must click three-dots menu (1) and then add to watch later (2).
I basically reduced my youtube consumption by 90% because clicking these 80+ times a day was a nightmare.
Hopefully you guys figure out how to fix it 🤞
I fixed this by using "YouTube Small Thumbnails" on Tampermonkey.
