Click+Drag to highlight in the edit widget sends the widget off the top of the window
When I am captioning an image and click/drag to highlight, the edit widget is suddenly moved off the top of the screen, and the overlay div blocks all the window, with no visible button or widget to remove. The edit widget is moved back into the window if I open the Safari debugger, click in the inspected content, and then click on the overlay widget (that is, move focus back into the Omeka window).
This doesn't happen with double-click to highlight a word, or keyboard-driven highlights (double-click followed by shift+arrow, etc).
Safari Version 9.0.3 (11601.4.4) El Capitan 10.11.3 (15D21) no ad block no pop-up disabling no js disabling
Could you clarify where in the admin this is happening? The only caption input I can think of is in the Exhibit Builder (in which case the issue should probably go to the ExhibitBuilder repo), but I'm not sure that makes sense with what you've described is happening.
A screenshot of the problem in action would probably be helpful as well.
I'm not sure how helpful a screenshot will be here (it'll just be a transparent gray overlay div over the edit interface), but I'll see what I can do.
edit: removing the widget screenshot privacy
The result of click and drag to highlight:

I can email a screenshot of the widget before it disappears if you need it.
Am I correct that your site is on the Omeka.net platform? If that is the case, we can do some more direct troubleshooting using the contact form for that service: http://info.omeka.net/contact/
