I tried to start installation again, but: ERROR: BOA installation procedure requires minimal supported OS. ERROR: Please make sure you don't have MySQL nor Apache installed. ERROR: Here's the list of directories which shouldn't exist: ERROR: /etc/nginx /etc/apache2 /etc/mysql /var/lib/mysql /var/aegir
After that: barracuda up-stable, but:

Hi,
MariaDB 10.2 is the default version in HEAD since June 11: 1938cfa You should switch to 10.2 already if you run head, because older versions are no longer tested with head.
So you really should upgrade to 10.2 even with stable...
No idea, but something must be wrong if barracuda can't find _EASY_HOSTNAME in /root/.barracuda.cnf

We couldn't reproduce the problem with stable, can you try to install head instead?
in-head was successful, thanks!
but the sites installed on that server couldnt connect redis. redis-server service is running, but the redis module is not in directory o_contrib_eight. I tried to copy the redis_eight from another boa, it seems to work, but Im not sure its the correct way.
After you have installed barracuda with in-head or upgraded with up-head, you should upgrade octopus instances with up-head too.
