I just wrote a managed wrapper class for breakpad to use it in my .net application and would like to send the dumps to the server. But I don't know if I have a use for the symbols. They are generally quite large and should not really differ from the provieded sources except if there is an trojan in it.

Or do do I understand this wrong?

Hello @NtFreX,

You can not upload symbol files if you don't want to do it. Omaha server uses them only to get an extended stacktrace.
