Output and logging at the right volume

I'm finding that the output from benchmark is sometimes too much, and at other times too little.

We are having some issues with inserts taking longer than desired (database issue, not oltpbench issue). However, this fact is not obvious from the output. Specific requests:

1. During loading phase, output progress updates, say every 30s or minute. This can be achieved in TATP by adjusting various batch size parameters and setting log level to debug, In the absence of parameter tweaking, it can look as if nothing is happening. The request is, provide indicators without having to "fix" the parameters.

2. In the execution phase of TATP, with debug log level, the output seems a bit excessive.

3. With TPCC, there don't seem to be any progress indicators, even with debug logging turned on.

4. These comments may apply to the other benchmark loaders / execution phases also.
