Exact days count replaced by weeks.

Why has the days count for news items been replaced with weeks instead? It's much less precise and I don't like it.

Hi @SabreRunner ,

We replaced timeago library in the latest release. Old versions use http://timeago.yarp.com/ Starting from 2.17.2 we are using http://timeago.org/

We had some localizations and other issues with the jquery timeago library, that's why we switched to another version. Probably you should open an issue in the timeago repo about the difference in rendering?

Can't there be a toggle or some setting so I can select how to see it?

I didn't find such toggle in the source code https://github.com/hustcc/timeago.js/blob/master/src/timeago.js

Excuse me but I don't have the time to read a library. So how does it work? Why was it changed?

So how does it work?

Could you please concretize the question?

Why was it changed?

I think, this question should be addressed to the authors of the library.
