Rflex mirror
First, sorry if this is described elsewhere, but we haven't been able to find it.
Ref. https://github.com/olm3ca/mirror/issues/23
We have the same mirror, and bought the same kit from eBay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/167410340053?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=JMDajnaISMG&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=-kZm7FqJTmi&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY)
Not wanting to fry anything, we'd like to make sure we don't do anything stupid :) So:
This board, red circle, is attached to the mirror - should not be removed, right?
Top blue cricle from the eBay board goes into the connector in the lower blue circle? Connector in the lower yellow circle (from the eBay board) goes into the connector in the top yellow circle?
The two connectors in the red circles (from the eBay board) goes into the two connectors in the blue circles?
When all this is connected, there should be no problem removing the old Android board from the mirror?
And finally, there's an amplifier on the mirror, can this be utilized to get sound from the Raspberry Pi we're planning to hide inside the mirror?
Just an update regarding this mirror - it works fine :) It even had USB connectors for both the camera and the touchscreen. I've done a writeup of how to modify the Rflex mirror here: https://www.innset.no/sats-speil-magic-mirror/
(it's in Norwegian, but I guess Google translates this into english just fine).
Thanks for all your hard work, @olm3ca !
Wow, touchscreen and working camera, that's fun! Nice writeup too. Nicely done @mk1blacklimited
