Rflex mirror from Mentra by SATS
I'm trying to do a similar conversion of the Rflex mirror. This mirror is very similar to the lululemon mirrors. (Link if interested: https://www.mynewsdesk.com/no/sats-norge-as/pressreleases/naa-kan-du-forhaandsbestille-treningsskjermen-rflex-fra-mentra-by-sats-3108497)
It was sold in the nordic contries from 2021 until recently.
It has a BOE DV430FHM-NN1 screen. Native it also has touch screen functionality, which I'm not sure the lululemon mirrors has? It runs a locked down android OS, and I have not tried to gain root access to it. I assume it is similar to the lululemon mirrors, that its a dead end to try addind another launcher to it?
I ordered the "HDMI+DP+USB-C LCD Controller Driver Board Monitor Kit for DV430FHM-NN0/NN1/NN5" to connect a thin client PC to the mirror. Still waiting on it, so will update when it arrives.
But I want see if it is possible to also get the touch functionality working.
This is the main board (will get a better picture if needed)
Does anyone have an idea what controls the touch screen?
Complete backside of the mirror:
PSU, backlight and screen connections seems to be the same as lululemon, but main board and amplifier is different.
Any feedback or tips is greatly apprechiated!
Hi, I have the excact same smartmirror, which board did you buy? I tried unsuccessfully to root the Android version so I need to go the same route as you :)
Can't you both just use a board like this one to make the panel work?

I bought this board, and it works! Got it up and running with a thin client connected to HDMI.
Still waiting for a USB connector with screw terminals in the back, but hopefully the touch interface will also work. From what I researched on the touch interface board, it supports USB, and the connection+wires indicate that it is USB.

Hi, @OnePowerUser88 - we’ve got the same rflex mirror (in Norway) - bought the same ebay item as well. Could you show how you’ve connected everything? A picture or two maybe? :) Thanks!
