Hex downloads

Not sure of the cause, and it’s most likely the problem is at my end - so this is more a note for users than an ‘issue’. For me, downloading the latest Hex files directly resulted in file corruption (each of them, I tried a bunch of things). Pulling the repo down as a zip did not have the same error, and the files flashed fine. Win10/Chrome & FF.

I think this is a general github thing, that many files one can't just download.

I guess I'll add some comments.
