Updating from 03xx to 04xx
Hello! Thank you for the download it was pretty straight forward even with no previous knowledge. I have installed the toolbox and I think it worked lol I was able to add the Grid view option for the main menu rather than tiles. I have unit MST2_US_VW_PQ_P0367T Device #: 5C0035684B and trying to install SW: 0478T but can't seem to get it to work. should I format a new SD card or can I just upload it on the Toolbox SD Card in one of the files? Thank you in advance

Please read into how to modify metainfo to do such updated. The toolbox can patch swdl and after that you need to build yourself a custom metainfo to make it work. If you don't know what you're doing you'll probably brick your unit.
thank you for the quick reply! yea I'm already lost I wont try it. I'm just trying to enable the car menu tile as my MIB has the "info" button rather than the "car" and unlock the performance monitor
You don't need to update to 478 to get the car menu. Just need to enable it with vcds or odis and the key combo to access the screen ( nav, menu, and voice together). For me it's useless as there's no car info just a blank screen.

PQ 478 does not have Car menu. Only ZR 478 ;)

My reason to enable it was to access the performance menu (sport menu) easier! I have activated sport menu using FEC/SWAP and does appear using the nav,menu, voice trick but now I need to figure out how to show the data in the sport menu as the 3 gauges are blank

Oh ok, I'm on 478 and I'm in the same boat. It doesn't show any info. So if you figure it out. Let me know

@olli991 I did find a way to do it, but there are some issues with the method I'm using. Would you like to help me find a solution for it first before, putting it out there

Awesome will do right now! I still don't know whats going on with my MIB. the system reboots couple times before fully activating. and when I insert the SD card in, it will show that it contains an update but when I go to install it the "SD CARD" slot is greyed out!
