Recording client-side isn’t the best way to go imho. Call recording takes place on my pbx and I think that’s much easier.

I don't see what points to Telephone causing this. You're posting the server response to the invite but did you also log the sent invite? Capture a network trace on...

This already exists. Telephone Preferences -> Sound tab. Ringtone Output setting.

While I agree using SIP ALG should be an actual crime the extra overhead of SRTP is neglectable imo.

Afaik stun.freeswitch.org has no SRV records set. So while Telephone should probably not crash over that you should not enable 'Use DNS SRV' for a domain that doesn't support it.
