Implementing zotero addon with manuskript

I would be great if the power of zotero is implemented in manuskript so all the reference could remain clear and well-formated

I believe supporting F1000 would be a better option. While not completely free, F1000 have several that work better than Zotero.

I +1 the feature request to provide integration with reference manager software (Zotero being my favorite). The two core use cases are automating the import of in-text citations and of the full bibliography.

Manuskript import in-text citation 01 Manuskript import in-text citation 02 Manuskript import bibliography 01 Manuskript import bibliography 02

I am also tagging issue #152, which describes a similar need.

Hello,

I also think that a real Zotero integration is needed in Manuskript if anyone wants to use it for academic writing. Workarounds (like the one mentionned in #152 & RTF/ODF Scan for Zotero) can get messy, and are uneasy to use for people not used to that kind of little hack.

It is important that the text editor shows in-text citations the way they would appear in the final export (or close to, or as short and clean as...). This is what is making the LibreOffice Zotero integration so powerfull. Otherwise, it gets quickly unreadable, as academic papers include paragraphs with many references : it's almost impossible to reread drafts when each citation is shown with lots of informations.

While I have no idea about the complexity or amount of work it requires, I'm wondering if it wouldn't be a key feature that would make a huge difference between Manuskript and other Scrivener-like software. In my case, it would definitely make the difference.

Hi, I agree with @kirmaha about Zotero integration. In fact applications like Zettelr or Logseq already do it. By the way, do you know those apps for academic writing? (cc. @olivierkes) Zettelr particularly uses the Zettelkasten technique, which seems interesting for academic writing and other types of content.
