Though I really like Semantic UI's approach, MDL seems to have more adoption in the Ember community, with this nice library of components:

The one we're using for SUI doesn't isn't as ready for prime time.

Also, I get the impression MDL will more readily work on both mobile and browsers (thinking of Google Inbox)
