UI / missing option 'auto cut silence'

hi, sorry, I'm new here, not used to your processing / workflow, pls. be tolerant,

acc. your comment about the status of the project it's evtl. more a point for later? but might be good to consider in actual decisions to ease later implementation.

I like 'auto cut silence' from Olive_1, it fit's my workflow and assume it's same for plenty of others. Alas it's missing in Olive_2 ( or did I overlook? ), and alas Olive_1 has some sort of color glitch which won't be repaired acc. your comments.

Thus I'm stuck between two 'half solutions' ... :-(
