[CACHE] Audio muting after 01:14:03
1687a721
Windows 10
At around 1 hour 14 minutes (and even sooner with HD), audio just completely mutes. This does not occur on 0.1, but I am unable to start a project there and open it in any newer version.
Not even cutting the bit down or allocating more RAM to Olive fixes this. Please help! I'm editing a live stream and the good part's an hour in! Thank you!
how consistent is this? can you skip right to it and it just disappears? and does the audio come back if you seek back to the beginning on the video?
It is VERY consistent. At medium (like 1280x720) quailty at 60 FPS it mutes at 1h 14m, but at higher qualities it mutes even sooner. It's not that the audio for the entire video mutes, it just mutes after a long time. This is a bit of a newer issue. I have a theory that if a clip high quality or long enough that the video would black out at some point and there would be no audio at all.

Sorry, there appears to be a misunderstanding. The entire audio doesn't mute, just everything after the certain point. Cutting it down does not fix it.
sorry I was asking is if you cut at about 1h, move the first chunk after the first bit, align the remaining chunk with the start of the timeline, does it go mute at 14min, or still at 1h 14m?
if you seek the the point where it mutes and continue from there, does it keep playing? also do you have cache availible?
The mute goes to 14 min. I'm not particularly familiar with the cache. I have a suspicion that a storage limit is being placed on the video and is therefore muting enough of it to put it under 3 GB or something close. Thank you for responding, I've been having to record all my long playthroughs in hour long clips :(
ill see if I can replicate this tommorow if I have time, Ill just download a movie rip or something I guess
Lol, sorry!
