I cannot sign in or create an account for the online platform
I created an account on warriorjs.com (at least I think I did??) and the page said I would be receiving a mail to my account with further instructions. i did not receive any mail, and i have checked all folders in my account. i left the process there believing maybe the mail got delayed somehow and will arrive later. i checked after a long time and the mail has still not arrived.
going to the sign up option wont let me use the name i want saying there is already someone with that name. though i was not receiving this error for the same name a while ago on my first try.
going to the login option gives me an incorrect password or email message. clicking on forgot password (which i didnt) gives me another message "There is no user with that username/email"
I am really confused as to what is happening. i am pretty sure i might have done something wrong, and if so, please help me rectify this issue.
i just tried to reset my password using my username that i tried to sign up with and i get a new error message saying "Oops! Something went wrong..."
In the console from the password reset page it says there is a 400 response from AWS cognito - maybe this is the issue? ⚔️

[bit more context - sign up seems to be working fine, only seeing issues on password reset]
