Just wanted to say thanks for this project.

Was trying to speed up a netlify website CI build that used make and ran into the issue that the mtime of the files was set to for the files from the git repo. This basically ensured that things were being rebuilt even though I used caching.

I encountered the Make md5 sum workaround/hack on some blog and then stumbled upon this, and this worked great so thank you very much!
