Background width and height scaling is stuttery, especially in low power mode.

I filmed some slow motion to analyze it a bit. There doesn't seem to be a good way too smooth it out using width and heigh, but I found this blog post

Btw, stripe also uses width and height, but they have the same issue. Their menus dont change that much in size though, but its still very noticeable in low power mode.
