Won't detect the barcode unless I position the barcode to the left side of the camera.
I'm using the zxing library v0.20.0 already.
And Why the one in the parceltrackingapp.com is so fast? It works from far away. Mine should be very close to the barcode to make it work or position the barcode to the left side of the camera.
@dendyaziz Could you try it here: https://barcode.leethost.com/
@teckel12 I've seen you forked the repo and the one on https://barcode.leethost.com/ should be your version, right? It does not work for me too. The one parceltrackingapp.com works perfectly. I'm a bit lost right now as I want to use it but cannot get it running at all. Neither from your forked repo :(
@donmb1 What doesn't work on the https://barcode.leethost.com/ example? That's just an example and really designed to be used on a cell phone, but also works on desktop. I've tried it on Chrome on Windows and the Mac, Safari on the Mac and iOS, and Chrome on Android. What platform are you using and what is happening?
You first click on the barcode, which will then bring up the scanner. If the scanner doesn't come up, it could be browser permissions. If you're still having a problem, it may be more appropriate to move this issue to https://github.com/teckel12/vue-barcode-reader/issues
@donmb1 It could be that the reason it didn't work was you tested it on an iPhone? I only had an iPad to test with, but it seems the iPhone lacks a feature which was causing a problem. v1.1.7 resolves this problem, which you can test here:
