Windows — Capture selection seems to be broken?
I'm on windows 7 SP1 and recently the screencloud capture selection functionality stopped working. I'm not sure exactly when it happened (possibly after the most recent screencloud update?), but now, when i press ctrl+alt+2, the selection overlay comes up, but i can do absolutely nothing. If i select an area, there's no indication that a selection was made, if i press escape, nothing happens and if i press enter nothing happens.
The twist is, if i do anything, and then press ctrl+alt+delete to bring up the windows 7 ctrl+alt+delete selection thing, i immediately see my screen update with whatever action i've done and then it goes to the ctrl+alt+delete menu, and if i leave that menu, the capture selection works as it should normally.
I also use screencloud on OS X and it doesn't exhibit these issues.
I'm happy to do any testing you'd like, and provide as much information as i'm able, as i use that functionality every single day. :)
I dont have a Windows machine to test with at the moment, but maybe the fix in https://github.com/olav-st/screencloud/issues/80 works? I'll look into it later :)
Actually, the first thing you suggested in #80, changing the delay, seems to have fixed it. Even after i changed it back to the original value, it remains fixed. :D
Will update the bug again if it reverts to being non-functional or something.
It seems to have indeed reverted, and now nothing will fix it.
I can confirm that I am having this issue as well. Tried to use the fix in #80 but didnt help. As the OP stated, using CTRL+ALT+DEL and then clicking cancel, it shows the dialog box to select.
I too am having the issue, which is a shame. Software works great on Ubuntu, but capture selection is broken on Windows 7. Ctrl + Alt + delete works, like the others said.
It started working again for a while, but has once again broken without a way to fix it.
