Hotkey Response Issue - High Sierra Beta

Similar to #299 my hotkey to capture selection requires two presses to activate. Oddly enough, if I'm in the SC preferences pane it works the first time. I'm currently using the High Sierra Beta, build 17C79a. Anything I can try to fix this, or any way to fix this?

This is still an issue in some circumstances where a second press is required to capture the screen. This is on macOS Mojave, non-beta version.
