Grant other maintainers access to Netlify Project
I have the Project set up under my personal Team. If I win the lottery, I want additional people to have access to be able to manage it.
Seems like this is done by adding Team members. It would therefore make sense to set up a dedicated Team, but these cost money. Thankfully, Netlify offers an Open Source Plan. To qualify, we'd need to:
- [ ] Add an acceptable license for the code
- The license in the footer only applies to the data, I'm now realizing.
- [ ] Include the Code of Conduct
- [ ] Include Netlify button/link
- [ ] Apply for the program
- [ ] Move the Project to the new Team
Let me know if there are any concerns.
The footer of https://okfn.org/en/what-we-do/tools/ could be taken to imply that all OKFN source code is released under the MIT license. Perhaps @rufuspollock knows if this was the intent?
Otherwise, a missing license is a kind of messy to fix, since nominally agreement of all authors is required. It looks like the bulk of the code was authored by @rufuspollock and @todrobbins, with some more recent changes by @augusto-herrmann , so perhaps getting them to agree to a proposed software license is sufficient.
MIT licenses is good for me and i think would be standard practice.
@afeld i'm not sure it is worth going through all of that 😄 for now ok to have it on netlify and we could also deploy to cloudflare (e.g. create an account just for this and share creds).
