This URL doesn’t work:

http://new.datacatalogs.org/group

but this one does:

http://new.datacatalogs.org/group/canada

Call no longer works, possibly because we no longer have groups - they were merged with tags.

Before it was possible to browse by group and by tag - which enabled people to curate subsections of the overall registry (e.g. data catalogues in a given country, on a given topic, etc). Are there any plans to implement some minimal version of this - e.g. by making tags clickable/browsable?

Also is it possible to suggest an edit to a given data catalog entry (e.g. updating URL, adding a tag, revising description, etc)?

@jwyg great questions! You are asking 2 things here:

  • Tag / Group support: as per this issue we want to bring this back - we are just wanting of time to fix this
  • Re editing workflow this is something we need to document better and could I ask you to open a new issue just on that (see https://lists.okfn.org/pipermail/data-catalogs/2014-August/000178.html for some context re the new setup https://lists.okfn.org/pipermail/data-catalogs/2014-October/000184.html - though it just provides background!)
