[Android] Samsung One Ui 8 Not working properly

Several of my users report that on Samsung devices with One UI 8, the NFC scanner works once and then stops responding. I can’t reproduce this as I don’t have a One UI 8 device.

Steps to reproduce: Start app and enable NFC Reader Mode: First scan works Next scans do nothing/ Andoid native intent like open websites if theres a link on the Tag

Expected: Reader Mode should be restartable

Notes: Seems specific to One UI 8 (previous versions work fine) Possibly related to Samsung’s NFC driver (see forum thread: link ) Backgrounding and reopening the app sometimes restores NFC

Can anyone with a One UI 8 device confirm, test or suggest a fix?
