Overlapping events

A layout algorithm is needed to display events that occur at the same time, or have some partial overlapping period, without one obscuring the other

Other calendars I have used seem to display them side-by-side in the same day. once theres 3 or more it gets pretty cramped, but this might be made less confusing with (possibly, this is kinda a large task) a view/addon view below the calendar that shows a more agenda/list-like view of your upcoming events.
