https://github.com/rosenpass/rosenpass/commit/cc7e8dc5100758800b051c37ee0362ba5495b926 is merged, so `findutils`, `gawk` and `wireguard-tools` shouldn't be required for a future release. I'll leave it until a new release

patches can't be applied. maybe you used git master as source? it's better to checkout to the tag and make changes on it
