Below is a summary of what we need to do in v4. If you have any requests you would like to see added to v4, please let me know.

We plan to start work on it after Svelte5 is officially released.

  • [ ] Svelte5 support

    • Even in v3, svelte-meta-tags works with Svelte 5 projects.
    • This change will solve some reactivity-related problems, but will likely require removing support for Svelte4 and Svelte3.

  • [x] #1119

    • Provide deep-merge functionality for objects, currently used independently by each user, within the package.

  • [ ] #1118

    • Although it doesn't necessarily need to be completed when v4 is released, I've been thinking for a while that it would be nice to have a web page that provides documentation.

What's the status on Svelte 5 support?

@cowboycodr Even at this point, svelte-meta-tags works with Svelte 5 projects. We plan to release a version with full support for Svelte 5 as soon as possible after Svelte 5 is officially released.
