Banner indicates navigation to first and last mementos when memento being viewed is both

I have indexed a WARC where there is only one memento for a certain URI-R. When viewing this memento in the ipwb replay interface, the banner has active buttons for the first and last navigation. Hovering over these indicates that both are the same memento, so clicking on them reload the page.

Should navigational elements be after if they link to the memento currently being viewed?

(not shown: hovering over the icons displays the date of the current memento.)
