availability of itsme

in https://github.com/odoo/documentation/blob/17.0/content/applications/productivity/sign.rst it's stated that itsme only works in Belgium and the Netherlands but now in the master branch the settings link to this page : https://www.itsme-id.com/en-BE/business/coverage. which state that more countries are covered. Is there a change that only work on future version or is itsme in version 18 also working with more countries?
