Enhance Documentation Screenshots for Tables, Survey, and Tables Applications

Open permission-error opened this issue 1 year ago • 4 comments

The current documentation displays a few outdated interface snapshots for the Tables, Survey, and Tables Applications, which no longer accurately represent the latest user experience. To maintain the technical accuracy of our documentation, it is imperative that we update the screenshots to align with the most recent user interfaces of these crucial components. This effort will ensure that users have access to up-to-date visual references, facilitating their understanding and utilization of our software solutions.

@permission-error - yes, there are definitely screenshots that need updating! With the new upcoming release, a big part of the docs project will be doing further updates. So one thing to note is if you do updates now might need to re-update after the new release. But assigning you to the issue and you can work on it, just may want to track what might need re-updating.

@elmps2018, as I go through the previous issues, it seems the previous Outreachy interns focused on the designs for upcoming interfaces. Just curious, when can we expect the release, and which screenshots should I be updating? Also, are these new designs going to be implemented across all three applications (tables, services, and survey)?

@permission-error, the release will be ready before the start of the internship period, but not during the application/contribution period (not during October). Quite a lot of screenshots will need to be updated, for anythign where the UI had changed. I think more of the changes are in Services, but maybe @Cveman1 and @Redeem-Grimm-Satoshi can weigh in on that as they worked on the updates.
