Refresh the ODK-X logo
The current ODK-X logo can be difficult to use in different contexts and at smaller sizes. This is partly due to use of multiple colours, shading, outlining and crowding of the letters.
The logo could be modernised and improved by simplifying the existing logo, changing use of colours, or by evolving the logo through bigger changes.
The updated logo should maintain the use of the brand colors: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1QfeE20gnWU9HFWkgSo5aaFMsTItNtQbRqXPu0ZqmeH0/ The updated logo doesn't need to use all the brand colors, but should not introduce new colors.
The logo will need to used in multiple contexts, including:
- the ODK-X website https://odk-x.org
- ODK-X mobile applications
- ODK-X Suitcase
The logo should be clear and legible at small sizes - e.g. 30px

Hi Rafa and team, Thanks for picking this up. We discussed in PMC this week and had some suggestions for the next iteration:
The color versions are preferred, but with some changes to the colors and how they're used
- Align with colours from style guide

- Mix up colours on letters, not restricted to current use
Logo needs to work well at small sizes
- The current width and spacing of the strokes makes it look 'spidery'
- The width of the logo could be reduced to make it more compact and square
- Letters could be more overlapping
- Different letter shapes could be tried

This is a little reiteration of the present ODK-X logo as brainstormed by me. A little thought sprang up my mind during this course and I felt that adding a little spice to what everyone is already familiar with should suffice rather than starting a whole new concept that people might find a little bit difficult to get accustomed to. In this vein, I made a text art of the previous logo and fitted it into a circular background (to give it that logo feel which can be incorporated in any interface) and still retaining individual shades. Below is the daylight and night mode of the idea with their corresponding use cases.
