ignore-name-clashes don't work

Open cj03272015 opened this issue 10 years ago • 3 comments

Hi,

When I use ignore-name-clashes, it doesn't seem to work. I still get the error clashes detected. Use ignore-name-clashes to override this behavior or fix-clashes to tr These paths clash

Hello @cj03272015 thanks for reporting this and welcome to drive. Would you mind giving a little more information on your drive build and version, commands you are running?

Hi,

We are basically uploading single files to drive. We've used this before with version 0.3.1 and it works without the name-clash feature, however with the current version 0.3.4 I'm getting the errors "These paths clash" though I have explicitly included the --ignore-name-clashes parameter when running drive. [root@rec-drive ~]# drive push -no-prompt --ignore-name-clashes /var/gdrive/Recordings/

I hit this pretty regularly. Any word on this? As it is, I'm unable to sync things.

I'm using 0.3.8.1.

But I've hit this in several versions and multiple linux distros. Currently I'm seeing this on NixOS.
